what is the ravens next move in signing new Players?

PrintWell we know the ravens sign TE Smith, Center Birk, Two CB fox and carr. But what is the ravens next move for the ravens, are they going to sign another big player to the team? or just go into the draft and finish it from there. I do believe they should sign FB lorenzo neal back to the team again and give Derrick Mason a extension to his contract becuase he is the most constant wide receiver on the team, no wide receiver on the ravens team performs like him so well even when injury.I believe he like Ray Lewis is to the defense but just he is the offense, in my opinion I don't care how old Derrick Mason is, sometimes the wise or older perform way better than the young can ever perform,but enough about that I just want to know what do you think the ravens plans are to do next?

They will probably wait and see what happens with the Draft
Just like every other team, then they will be bargain shopping for the free agents still unsigned to fill out their rosters. That will also allow the FA’s to see where they have the best chance at playing the most.
Lorenzo Neal was not re-signed (at least not yet) because the Ravens feel that will the addition of LJ Smith and a healthy Sypniewski, they can go with the TE sets and not need a FB like Neal, and can get a lead blocker cheaper in the draft or afterwards.
Doubt that Ravens will give an extension to Mason. I fully expect them to grab a decent receiver in the early rounds, if not the 1st. Between whoever that is and Demetrius Williams, that will be our deep threat(s), and Clayton will be re-signed to be our new possession receiver, as Mason won’t get a big offer from us due to his age and durability.

I think that Mason deserves an extension. He’s still the most reliable receiver we have, and gives 110 percent. We need an experienced deep threat to guide whoever we get in the draft, hopefully heyward-bey, and develop him to his full potential.

Are you implying Mason is a deep threat?
Hey, look what Mason did
in Tennessee in the playoffs. So Mason, while obviously a possession receiver, can go long as he runs great routes and improvises as good as any.

He's got at least a year left
on this contract. Let’s see how he continues to do and how healthy he stays all season before we roll out the cash to a 34 year old guy.
