Todd Heap Getting Better

I know that the ravens sign TE Smith, I really don't know to much about smith but i heard he is good as ravens te Heap. I believe signing smith was maybe away to get todd heap back into that super heap status like he was back in the day, now Todd has a competion so this might help him to be better this season or maybe not. I just think it's weird to sign smth to a only one year contract, well it might be similar to Terrell Owens contract, which i call it "a just want to see what you can do this season contract and if you do good we keep you longer", but for real I think it's to help Heap get better, sometimes we need that match once again to light up our flames and maybe Smith is the one to do that for Heap.

Smith got 1.5 mil

Owens got 8 mil. Little difffrent.. Smith at the moment is only an upgrade ffrrom Wilcox. Heap should still be the guy for us on a good amount of plays.

But the look for the contract looks to be that “what can you do for me this coming season” Kind of like what we did with Leonhard. If we could have, we would have loved to sign him again. But Rexx came through and swapped him from us.

LJ Smith is a roster filler

Just making sure Heap plays well and stays helathy. Sypnieski will be our blocking TE. We’ll still draft one, probably in the later rounds. If that draft pick pans out, then Smith is a no re-sign next year as we’ll go with Heap, Quinn and the rookie after that.
