SB Nation Makes the Washington Post!
There we were, in all our glory! On the front page of the Febuary 9, 2009 Business section was an article about the recent get- together at the offices of SB Nation (SportsBlogs Nation), held before a recent Washington Capitals hockey game. As I noted in an earlier posting, it was an impressive display of investors, potential advertisers, media and of course, bloggers from so many different sports and areas of the country. See the entire article by clicking here. In the photo, I'm the tall guy in the back near the bottom of the stairs. Pretty sweet photo of me, eh!?

Why were the Ravens emphasized so much throughout the article?
Rexx, you do some special favors? They make it seem like its a huge surprise that the Ravens are covered. I would have expected something more like “Any sport covered from mixed martial arts to cycling.” They make it seem like “Guess what, people even talk about the Ravens on this blog!”

Seriously. They didn’t expect the Ravens to be mentioned anywhere outside of ESPN: the Ocho.

I read it as from something that's still somewhat obscure and underground
to something you’d totally expect to have a community of fans discussing.
