'Skins sign Grahm Gano cut Suisham

The chip-shot miss against the New Orleans Saints has cost Washington Redskins kicker Shaun Suisham his job.
Suisham was cut Tuesday by the Redskins, who replaced him with Graham Gano from the United Football League.
Suisham made his first 13 field goal attempts this year, but he had vital misses from 39 and 50 yards against Dallas three games ago and was wide right Sunday on a 23-yarder that would have sealed a victory against the unbeaten Saints. New Orleans rallied to win 33-30 in overtime.
Gano kicked the winning field goal in overtime for the Las Vegas Locomotives in the first UFL title game last month. He is from Florida State and spent training camp with the Baltimore Ravens.

I actually traded emails w/ him when I found out
I told him had he waited a day or so they might have brought him back as Cundiff has a concussion. Graham said the Ravens contacted him but the Skins offered him a contract so he grabbed it. Now we’re 0-2 for finding replacement kickers with our first choices.

Matt Bryant if Cundiff can’t go. Too bad Vinitieri isn’t returning this week so the Colts could release either him or Stover for us to grab.

Kickers are totally over penalized for mistakes. Suisham was 13 for 13 before 2 bad games. Of the 3 misses 1 was from 50+. So he had 2 bad misses in 16 attempts. That costs a guy hi career and with no guarantee the nest guy will do better. Even our own replacement has barely kept the ball in the uprights.

Players we can enjoy when we get KO'd-
1. Ladarious Minimalu Webb is worth watching even when we get knocked out and our tickets are worth $5- the price I got the last ttime the Lions played M&T. Turned out to be Barry Sanders last game. The dude is a freak. When he starts banging out the weights someones getting hurt.
2. JJ- keeps showing his fighting spirit and our best pass rusher. The closest thing to Henry Rollins we have.
3. Kruger- Because he is the future. Great physco energy. Gored by a knife wielding thug and still smacking people around.
4. Kelly Washington- Mr. automatic 1st down not used enough. His fault? I still like his bad ass attitude and freaky fisrt down “dance”. Oh Suga’.
5. Oher- Meanest Mr. T face on the team. The dude just loves smashing people. I may just watch him grind people into the turf the rest of the year.
6. Ray Tron Rice- Wha What! Moves like that belong in the movie Tron. Can he return punts? Raytron- you heard it here first.
7. Ellerbe – to see if he breaks into Freaky Girl on the field. I love watching this Rick James character. Charlie Murphy come here. BAM. Pop you in your eye Charlie Murphy.
