Ravens Roster Moves: Justin Harper Activated
The Baltimore Ravens made a couple of roster moves today, including activating WR Justin Harper from the Practice Squad to the active roster. Harper, a second year player out of Virginia Tech, made some outstanding catches in Training Camp and pre season, but he also had a habit of dropping balls that he should have caught. However, he is a big target (6'3") and should provide an additional long ball option for QB Joe Flacco.
Here is the Ravens' PR Dept. media release:

RAVENS ROSTER MOVES
The Ravens waived FB Charles Ali and signed WR Justin Harper from the practice squad to their active roster, general manager/executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced Saturday.
Harper, a seventh-round draft pick by the Ravens in 2008, has spent the entire season on the practice squad. Last season, he was placed on Injured Reserve (knee) following training camp.

Eron Riley
I saw Harper in pre season in Charlotte, he was open quite a bit but seemed to drop everything between the hash marks. Hopefully he is eager ti impress and earn a some playing time. I wanted to see Eron Riley this year, is he still on the practice squad?
He is still on Practice Squad
Looked great in pre-season. Would love to get a look at him.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
Clayton may not be playing this weekend, hence the promotion for Justin Harper. I would
have preferred Eron Riley. Harper has hands of stone.
Agree here
I still have faith that he can make a big time impact in games. He is the type of player on our roster than can break it open and give us the momentum. Plus with Joe throwing alot of his passes high, D-Will can definitely go up there for them.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
More than likely,
Harper is active strictly for depth. If Clayton doesn’t play, K-Wash and D-Will move up into the #2 and #3 positions, respectively and J-Harp is the #4 receiver.

Yea man
I was surprised. But it was mainly focusing on how everything went down in the 80’s. The Miami program had a major fall off during Ray Lewis’ time there.

Because the show was not about
Miami in the 90’s. Read the bio, it was about the program in the 80’s!!!!!

We're not putting him back on Practice squad after this right?
I really like him, he has great motivation, just drops some easy-to-catch balls sometimes… I think this was a great roster move! BTW, who did we sign to PS after we activated him?
