National Anthem... Another random post.
Sorry... I know this isnt that important of a post. But, anyone else at the game notice the Star Spangled Banner? Being a music teacher, I thought it was hilarious. Miashio (spelling) Miller must have been told to try and time the banner with the flyover, but it he made the performance leading up to the flyover pretty memorable.
At first, within 2 lines, I noticed he was singing way too fast. Then, by the middle he was singing in slow motion. Anyone else catch that? Would love to see a video of it.
I wonder who made the decision to do the Anthem after the players get to the field. I understand that it is probably a good thing to have the players out there for it.
It reminded me of the movie Mystery, Alaska where Little Richard sings it slow to make the NY Rangers cold.
Just a random thought...
I also enjoyed seeing John Harbaugh try to get the fans up during the game. Reminded me of when Denver's McDaniels did it after the win against NE.
Go Ravens

Sigh
Yet another random post by you Lespaul! When will you ever stop???
Just messin. Yea, I got chills seeing Harbaugh pump us up. It was right in front of my section to. He got real into it and I love that about him. I could never see Mangina doing that.
I could not see Marvin Lewis doing it though. The Bengals are true fans and stand the whole time. Ouch, don’t lose anymore hair over it Ravens fans. Bengals fans got us, they do a mean National Anthem over at Cinci.

haha
Harbaugh is the man. I was definitely loving how he put Mason in his place after the unsportsmanlike penalty. He looked like a drill sargeant getting up in a dude’s face. Billick could never have pulled that off.

Billick would have asked Mason if he wanted a glass of orange juice.

Having the players on the field for the anthem
is now the norm here at M&T. While Misheal Miller (spelling?) has a great voice, my problem is that he sings the anthem for EVERY game. Why can’t we get local and national celebrities to do it once in a while? Heck, I’d even do it for the experience and I can’t sing at all. I can’t understand why he has to sing EVERY week.

I imagine it going a little something like this:

Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.

They have had other celebrities sing before. Usually when its a primetime game which doesnt happen too often unless we are playing the Colts, Pats or possibly the Steelers. I can remember once they had the dude that sings The Thong Song and his group sing. I honestly would rather hear Mr. Miller than most celebrities. In Tennessee and Pittsburgh, I got to hear Martina McBride sing it our of tune both times. I just thought his latest rendition was interesting.
Ah… Sisqo and Dru Hill. They sucked.

I think they should let a person sing it until we lose and then change it up.
I’d like to hear Childs Play, Kixx, Company of Wolves, Carl Filipiac, Deana Bogart, The Ravyns, Great Train Robbery-(the drummer was my pest inspector when I bought my house), and Crushing Day sing it.
