Players you wished played for the ravens
I was checking out the "Ask Baltimore Beatdown" post on the steel curtain and i found a post like this about the steelers. Consider it comic relief from the sunday night game.. We always talk about the idea of having certain recievers, and personally, when our offense was terrible i used think [dream] about manning together with the prolific ravens Defense. And please consider all the hypothetical situations, even the T.O. mess years back
Hoping this'll be fun

I think Charles Woodson's better
I am biased though

Lol
The 48 year old Woodson is better than Revis? Stop eating so much cheese, brotha.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
Woodson has been your nickel for most of this season
so that automatically makes Revis better.

No, I want you in Steeler nation;-)
Wallace & Holmes on the outside & Ward & Miller in the middle. Not too many teams I wouldn’t place Fitzgerald on, but with Wallace as a candidate for Rookie of the year I’m not sure if I would tinker with Steeler current line up. Still, having him on Steelers keeps him off opposing teams & rotating with Holmes & Wallace??…
Fitz on the Ravens gives Flacco & Ravens what they’ve needed for years. A true deep threat. Also Mason you need to hit when he finds the open spot, Ravens don’t have a receiver who can go to the ball & beat the defender for it as Fitz can.
Where Have You Gone Johnny U?
biggest thing Fitz would do
is go up for the jump ball. Flacco throws the ball really high very often, and if we had a guy who was 4 to 6 inches taller than Mason or Clayton, our offense would look very different.

I'll take Troy
With both him and Ed reed roaming the field, QB’s wouldn’t be able to throw it.
FEAR THE NEVERMORE DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Dynamic Duo
just like Lewis was at his best with Bart Scott playing with him, Reed would be even better paired with Troy.
Where Have You Gone Johnny U?
Randy Moss, Champ Bailey, Troy Polamalu, and Jared Allen
Can anyone say SB?

May God watch over you wherever you are now and may you be in a better place. We will never forget you!
By the time everyone here finishes
picking the players they want on the team, there won’t be any current Ravens starting, will there (other than Ed and perhaps Ray), right?
aka 'Rexx'
you don't want Ray starting? Did I understand you correctly?
I mean he’s like the only guy finishing tackles this year…

Yeah, you got it
If the concept is a “dream” team – I don’t put a current Ray Lewis on it – maybe 5 years ago, but not now. As far as finishing tackles – that’s pretty easy when you’re the last guy to get to the pile.

He is also the leader in missed tackles, If you focus on him in a game, he is always slipping off of his man.

I'd keep who we have, but I'd take
Fitz at WR,
Peppers at LE,
Revis at CB.
That’s a superbowl. But obviously we can only put those players together in a Madden franchise.

Peppers is actually a possibility if Panthers can't afford to resign him at the end of the season

Joey Porter
With him and Ray Lewis the opposing team wouldn’t be able to call plays in the huddle there’d be too much trash talking.
nah
him and ray lewis would be cutting each other off during pre-game speeches and interrupting each others’ post-game interviews.

But it would be awesome. I’d take Ray on those teams any day, Ray Lewis and Joey Porter, that team would be crazy.

Got sort of burnt on that one play to Moss
But other than that, I did not see too much of him. He is on one hell of a good team though.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
Anita Marks
had him on the phone, practically orgasming when talking to him saying how great he played and how there are so many of his fans here in Baltimore. I saw an old guy who stayed away from tackling and got burnt by Moss when Brady threw his wway. I did not see a decent game from him at all. However, Mike McKenzie looked great and there is zero comparison between C-Mac and M-McK!

Ray lewis grabbing more credit
funny stuff raven. gotta say it was a great game, never like watching the Steelers lose & will never offer excuses but considering the situation the loss was expected & a little easier to take. The biggest laugh all night was the Ray & Ray interview after the game. I couldn’t believe Lewis was taking credit for Rice’s play. Something about a connection & a force where they feed off of each other. I wish I had the quotes. I was laughing so hard I missed some of it. Enjoy your cruise boys;-) If anyone has the quotes can you please post them? See you again in a few weeks Ravens.
