Coincidence?
That the Ravens play the Colts the same weekend that "The Blind Side" is released as a movie?
For those of you who have not read the book, it ends with a reporter interviewing Dwight Freeney (a few years ago when he was viewed as the best pass rushing defensive end in the league) and telling him that Michael Oher had proclaimed, "I could take Dwight Freeney right now." Freeney kind of smiles and shakes it off but the reporter then gives a description of Oher's career (only has been playing since senior year of high school, best LT prospect in years, etc.) and Freeney stops smiling and asks:
"What's his name again?"
"Michael Oher"
"You tell Michael Oher I'll be waiting for him."
Coincidence? I think not!
I am pretty excited even though Gaither will go up against Freeney most of the time, Oher should have a few shots at him. I also doubt that the exchange between Freeney and the reporter will be in the movie, as well as a lot of the stuff about the evolution of the pass rush and left tackle, which is a huge part of the book. Michael's story is great in itself though so it could be pretty good.

Oher gets Mathis
which is quite a matchup in itself. I think Freeney will take Gaither to tschool but Oher should hold his own w/ Mathis, but seems to get too many falso starts while Gaither is the holding king on the o-line.

Kill him Oher
I want to see his Freeney ass 20 yards in the ground!

May God watch over you wherever you are now and may you be in a better place. We will never forget you!
How to guard Freeney-
Shove him hard at the line, back up 2 steps watch him wiff with the spin move and then push him a second time after he finishes his 360. It’s as simple as watching a spinning top. Don’t let him rollup in you and then spin. Keep him arms length like spinning a basketball. damn i’m good. i could have been state champ. i could throw this ball over those mountains. wanna see my tape?
If coach would have put me in 4th quarter
We would have been have been state champs. Beer cold raven? It gets nasty here in the red solo cups.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
I used to get in lacrosse games
with two minutes left and us down by 12 goals. Once I was even told to go in w/ 30 seconds left while we were getting blown out. I just stared at the coach and said “NFW” and quit after the game.

Ahhh...
You’re doing a bang-up job of putting the “fantasy” back into fantasy football.

Uhhh puke. can’t talk about to this day.
We had field parties with trash cans full of grain alcohol mixed with red drink mix. We took shots from a cut off lacross stick. AFTER my freshman year we learned NEVER to drink from the trash can. Growing pains.
Ugggh, grain alcohol & vodka
My stomach hurt for three days after one night of that back in college.
