Best Tailgating Ravens or Redskins?

Who has the best tailgates? The Redskins have a long tradition but the Ravens have better atmosphere around the stadium. Its easy to hate Dan Snyder but that just shows the skins fans passion - by just showing up. If you watch the TV Pilot Americas Best Tailgate then the Baltimore fans beat the Redskins in this competition. Its on Youtube and broken into 3 segments, check it out -

Why is this even being asked?

I have been to a few redskins tailgates and they were terrible. They sit there and make hog noises while talking about how Jason cambell is the second coming of Warren Moon. Their alcohol amount is pathetic and I remember seeing one group of people with sushi at their food stand. WTF!

The tailgates I go to at m&t or the one we have is done up right. Couple 30’s of miller lite (none of that high class I’m too cool for school bottled crap, you can’t shotgun them), couple handles of Kentucky gentleman, cold brats and burgers that are like shoe leather but still taste great after 12 millers, 1 football and play in your bare feet, and some music (our choice is usually Stones, CSNY, Zepplin, or 2Pac (my preference). People try to over due it and fail
miserably, just like everything else in Washington.

And in the end, if you are vomitting in a trash can while going down the Raven Walk (me at KC game) and spitting every 10 seconds with a cigarette that you don’t even want, then you know it was a great tailgate.

But this is just my opinion.

You have to hate losing more than you love winning.

At least us Ravens fans

can stand or sit around the tailgating lots talking aobut how we can compete, while the ’skins fans are a bunch of sad sacks, whining about how bad their team, coaches and owners are. God, that would be horrible for me. Something tells me the beer tastes better and the food is tastier as well up here in Baltimore!

Skins fans are the UN of football. Just a hodge podge of people with no common interests including their team.

If you're a blue collar person, Ravens

If you’re a snoty white-collar person, Redskins.

I now have a blog: http://justanotherbaltimoresportsblog.blogspot.com/

You cannot replace Dundalk and Essex fans. They define us. Our “white collar” fans are actually still blue collar but they live in Hunt Valley and along Falls Rd.. Someone has to manage the warehouse.

How can you respect a team whose most famous fans are dressed in drag ??

The hogettes?? Dressing up like a player’s wife to a game, Wow I bet Sigmund Freud would have a good explanation for that behavior.
