Former Ravens LB prospect Tony Fein Dead
Tony Fein, the former Ravens LB who was in here for OTA's, died last night in Port Orchard, Washington. Result of the death has yet to have been told to the public.
The reports originated via Fein’s agent, Milton D. Hobbs.
“It’s a very sad situation,” Hobbs told the Baltimore Sun. “I am still trying to figure out what happened.”
If anyone forgets, Tony Fein was also the same Ravens player who was arrested at a Baltimore City restaurant after an officer thought he saw Fein pass another man a gun, which turned out to be a silver cellular phone.
The group was passing around a large, silver cellular phone, but employees suspected it to be a handgun after a recent rash of violence in the area and called the authorities. According to the police report, when Fein was confronted and refused to stand up, he shoved an officer in the chest and was arrested.
Hobbs called the event racial profiling. Fein was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
“This is stunning, sad news,” said Ravens senior vice president of public and community relations Kevin Byrne of Fein’s death. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.”

I am shocked and saddened!
I interviewed him and he was such a nice and respectful guy. I hope his family can deal with this shock and find peace.

"I know where you're at, man. You had it all, and now it's gone. It's torn a hole in your soul bigger than my Escalade. So you turned to the drugs, the alcohol. Pornography, free-basing with OJ, human trafficking, dog fights slash orgies... darkness."

his attorney believes it was suicide

very very sad. Toxicology reports will take 6-8 weeks but if his Baltimore attorney decided to comment on it then you have to think there’s something to it. Attorneys are usually the ones advising people not to say anything, so this sounds credible to me.

Man....
Just too sad. Someone who was said to be such a nice guy, happy and always having fun. Bruce had the privilege to meet this guy. He was a true American.

Amazing in today's world
that we have to wait for toxicology or DNA reports as long as we do!

My thoughts and Prayers are with the Fein family.

very tragic
I commend him for serving our country and I hope he’s at peace now no matter what the reason was that he died.

What should we do?
The least the Ravens can do is a moment of silence.
Ray Rice is so agile. He's a whole new breed for agile you need a new word to describe his agility... UBER-AGILITY!

Difficult for me to comprehend
how a 27 year old guy who served his country and competed at the highest level and has so much to live for and ahead of him can even think about doing that to himself. I guess we have no idea how much a wartime event can screw w/ your head.

i mean we never really knew the guy
i know a lot of really nice, honest, hard working people who have some serious demons buried down there. Maybe Iraq did it to him, maybe it was something else, we’ll never know. It’s just sad. Like purpleonblack86 said, regardless of the cause of death we can only hope he’s at peace now.
