I said last week I would come on here and eat shit if you won well...
You did lose, but you should have won. So I retract my previous statement that you guys were the worst team the Bengals played this season. To come back from 27-10 down was a big time effort, especially against a team that was 5-0 at home. I wish you all the best of luck going forward because you'll need it in three weeks in the Jungle.
But, what's with the run D? 145 to AP after over 120 to Benson last week. Better fix something.

I don’t agree with my fellow Steeler fans who come on to other teams’ blogs to raise hell after a loss, but I’ll tell you this: I clearly remember this jerk who goes by “Baltimore Warrior” (what a laugh, the guy’s probably 19 years old) who came onto BTSC and talked tons of trash after Pittsburgh’s tough week 2 loss. Wow, he sure seemed to enjoy himself.
So I don’t stand by what other overzealous Pittsburgh’s fans are doing (thankfully it only seems to be a couple, certainly less than the Ravens fans who showed up after week 2), my word to these guys is to show some class for Pete’s sake, Pittsburgh sure hasn’t won anything yet, either, hell, we’re still not even leading the division. But that would only be because of the respect we have for most of you on this site, other than guys like Baltimore Warrior. What an immature little hypocrite that guy is, he goes nuts over outsiders coming here to talk trash when he took such joy in doing it when Pittsburgh fans were down. Bruce, if you ban someone like .58. then you should also ban Baltimore Warrior, because does a ton of the same stuff and gives you guys a bad name.
I, like you, appreciate friendly fire between opposing teams fans. Hell, it’s only a game. I also believe no one should be banned unless that person uses profanity, and/or is threatening. Just let the good times roll. Pittsburgh has 6 world championships; Baltimore 4 – Pittsburgh has the bragging rights, for now.
Might be a real fair statement, but...
then again calling out another team’s poster is not much better. Make your point, earn respect but don’t throw specific names under the bus. I will monitor the individuals.

it’s hard to cut Frank when Fabian is playing so poorly that you bench him in favor of Frank. So Frank’s job is quite, quite safe. At least he was close enough to interfere. Did you guys see how far away Fabian was on some of those plays? Pass coverage means you need to actually stay with your man.

can you tell me what has happened to the Ravens defense? are the vet’s a step slower, do you miss Ryan that much? is the pass happy offense keeping the defense on the field too much? as a Steelers fan, I probably watch the Ravens as much as any other team in the league not wearing Black and Gold and it looks like they might be on the way out as a dominating defense. your thoughts?

It all starts up front. No pressure = no coverage. Give any QB much less a Favre time and he’ll pick you apart. He had all day on most of those throws and the one time late in the 4th period we got to him he couldn’t evade our rush and Ray nailed him. Until we have that 10 sack guy and Suggs doesn’t get doubled every time, we’ll suck on coverage.

they’re nice in the 2-gap but they’re just not natural pass-rushers. Pryce used to be but he’s changed his style of play and he’s mostly a block eater.
That’s the thing; only Suggs and sometimes JJ can rush the passer. If that’s all an OL has to worry about, it gets easy to block.

stationary. solid but stationary. not putting any fear in the pass rush that’s for sure.
as far a getting double teamed- if that’s the case then the D-coord stinks. Week after week we hhear about the double team. Well, change it up. If it weren’t for changes Reggie White, Lawrence Taylor, Strahan wouldn’t have done much either. Or, maybe they would and it’s just that Suggs is not WHO WE THINK HE IS…and he needs to be let off the hook so stop crowning his ass.
