Irsays Show Wonderful Hypocritical Side

Jim Irsay lashes out at potential ownership bid for Rams by group which includes Rush Limbaugh.

Why should this be mentioned? Simply, history, Jim.

This from Joe Bryant, FootballGuys.com.:

"On that angle though – a note to Jim Irsay. Your family pulled one of the slimiest moves in NFL history. Just look at what they did to those guys in the bar in the paragraph above when they slinked out of town in the middle of the night and kicked a city and it's fans in the teeth.

Yet Irsay was one of the first owners to claim the moral high road opposing Rush Limbaugh's reported bid to become a minority owner in the Rams. "I, myself, couldn't even consider voting for him," Irsay said, according to the Associated Press. "When there are comments that have been made that are inappropriate, incendiary and insensitive ... our words do damage, and it's something that we don't need." I'm no Limbaugh fan so save the emails. This isn't about Limbaugh. This is about knowing that you should keep your mouth shut when your name is tied to one of the more inappropriate, incendiary and insensitive owner moves in recent history."

Baltimore should still be home to the Colts. The fact that Baltimore has a team called the "Ravens" and not "Colts"  is a joke in my opinion, to me all they are is Browns v1.0.

The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

Hmmm much like your beloved state tried to do to his farther and “HIS” team………does the words eminent domain ring a bell or are you to young to remember what happened and just going by what you read……truth has a way of being lost over time.

Judging by the posts you've made

I KNOW you’re too young to remember it happening – I’m Not! Lived through it and the entire Irsay gang was involved in the move and the planning – Junkie Jr. was the acting GM if I recall correctly – so no matter how much you try to absolve and separate him from his drunken old man, the whole addict clan was responsible – or was he “just following orders”? Screw the Irsays – every one and every generation until their sub-human genetic strain is cleansed from the gene pool.

It’s just a shame that the Inbredianapolis Cowtown managed to have enough bake sales to manage to build a new stadium a couple years ago – otherwise, I’d guarantee you’d be crying now over the LA Colts or wherever the ever greedy Irsays might have been able to get the most blackmail money from.

D-Fensive

Your ID seems to fit you, as most of what you have posted is garbage so is your assumption of my age, but then the old saying about assuming has very much been proven by YOU.

Jim Irsay was hardly more than a errand boy for his dad when the move took place.

You better pray that someone doesn’t hold your children responsible for your action as evident by your name calling and lack of resolve.

Well,

Jim Irsay was officially named GM of the Colts in 1984. Prior to that, he was working in the PR department supposedly, but actually running the front office for his drunken sot of a father who couldn’t stay conscious long enough to do so.

And how is your TV channel 13’s investigation of Jim Irsay’s alleged prescription drug fraud case coming? Think maybe he didn’t want Rush in cause he feared competition for his supply?

While most of what I’ve posted might well be garbage, at least I didn’t go to someone else’s blog and insert my unwanted opinions. Never too late I guess.

Also, I don’t have children. I’m sure you’ve heard of that in Indy. Must be some people there who don’t have sisters to breed with. So your threatening of them (if they existed) in print does no good.

Lastly, I’m 49 years old – two years younger than Junkie Jr. And you are?

59, and you need to get over your anger that or go on the Cleveland site and practice calling the kettle black.

Why would I want to go some other teams blog

and insert my opinions? They could care less about Indy and dislike Baltimore for reasons I can well understand. Don’t agree with, but understand.

My parting advice for you, my friend, is that you should see if you can find someone in Indy who can write English grammar – might be hard, I know – and get them to teach you about punctuation.

Btw -

One last thing that’s bugging me. It’s your screen name. You do know that’s a horseshoe and not the letter “U”, right?

No, I go to bed around 10:30 and get up at 5:00 AM for work. Sorry to spoil your thoughts of some one at 59.

Actually

most of the 59 year olds I know are still trying to remember where they put their keys during their last acid flashback.

Actually.....

I’m suddenly more intrigued by your amazingly accurate powers of deductive & inductive reasoning.

From my posts, you gleaned that I was too young to remember the events unfold in real time, thus relegating me to have to dig through old dusty manuscripts to learn of it al.

Also, you were able to deduce that I was a “Inbredianapolis” fan.

You, sir, have an intellect far superior than mine, and this is painfully apparnt. Obvious to even a toddler who is descended from real Baltimore Raven lineage.

Except for the fact I’m not a Colts fan (past, present, or future). You would have been able to tell this a) from seeing the picture of Jack Lambert by my name b) seeing my screen name, “58,” and associating it with Lambert, or, simply, before making an ass out of yourself, just clicking on my name and seeing my affiliation.

Apparently you were too busy “knowing” things.

And as for being too young…ok. Too young to have had my subscription to “The Sporting News” and also “Pro Football Digest,” and to follow the NFL daily in the local papers…even BEFORE the USA Today came out.

You sir, like I intimated above, are BRILLIANT to “KNOW” these things without me telling you.

Nice win by your Ratbirds today, BTW. Oh..nevermind.

Soooooo

When we moved the Browns from Cleveland to Baltimore, should we have named them the Colts? Not getting the point of this fan post at all. No one cares what YOU think we should be named.

Limp and dangling.

I could give a "San Diego*" what your team is named.

*see “Anchor Man” for the clue to this one.

Want to see real hatred

Look at my posts about the show on ESPN about "The Band That Wouldn’t Die’ on the Baltimore Colts Marching Band on both the Browns and Colts’ sites on SB Nation and you’ll see a combination of real hatred. Colts (get over it!) and Browns (you stole our team and we hope Art Modell dies a painful death). Also, Cleveland’s theory is that even though they got a team after two years rather than the 12 we waited for, their was an expansion team and ours was an existing team so we got the benefit while that’s why they’ve been so bad for so long. Wha?

No more posting on Cleveland site

Take it from me, through the “Commish” stay away from the Cleveland site. That includes everyone here, or risk getting in “trouble.”

Thanks for your anticipated cooperation.

yeah i noticed that

the minute they recognize you as a ravens fan they just rip on you in the most aggressive and unbelieveable ways.

I mean i wasn’t even talking trash and they jumped on me so fast… like one of the people over there was like “tone it down, he’s not that bad” but the rest of them are just so bitter…

There’s really something wrong with that town. Hopefully LeBron James will stay there and win a ring for them so he can at least partially cure their inferiority complex.

They still hate you for the Browns moving. That and most of the Steeler fans who come over here are pretty nice and willing to joke around.
