Around SBN: Cal RB Jahvid Best Seriously Injured, Carted Off Field

Next Week

I cannot say enough about Baltimore today.  It has been nothing short of amazing witnessing each down this season.  The way everyone steps up on the team is truly special.  How each player plays for his teamate and not themselves.  With the exception of maybe Willis.  Players have surprised us each week with their consistancy and great play.  Leonard, Washington, Flacco, etc..  the list goes on and on.  John Harbaugh has been great this year and brings out the competitive attitude we needed in Baltimore.  That decision to challenge the catch in the first half was something that saved us three points.  He is a great coach and I think everyone in Baltimore all know who the real coach of the year should be as well as the real rookie of the year.  It doesnt  matter what gets thrown in our way, such as the injuries, the long stetch without a break, the short week, the rookie quarterback, the "Experts" who doubt us, The Ravens show up each week as a team ready for battle.  No body could have called the type of season Baltimore has experienced.  Even our own Shannon Sharpe picked the Titans before the game.  It really doesnt matter who believes in us as long as we keep winning.

Im not sure who I would rather play next week.  Each possible opponent has something different about them.  Ending the Steeler's Season and moving onto the Super Bowl would be phenomenal.  I think we can go into Heinz Field and get the job done.  It would also be intriguing to go out to the warm west coast like we did in our super bowl year and play the chargers.  I dont know who is best for Baltimore to play or who to cheer for tomorrow.  Who would you rather Baltimore play next week?

I would like too see the Steelers again obviously because of the rivalry and I feel that it would make for a dream matchup in the AFC championship and especially with the way our last bout ended. Even with this fantasy of mine, something tells me we will be seing San Diego instead because they are so hot right now and I feel that in some way they will have the advantage on Sunday. Their defense has really come together and it will likely be from turnovers and a strong running game down the stretch too put it away.

I would much rather see us play the Chargers; however, I’m pretty sure the players would much rather have one more shot against Pittsburgh.

Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.

I'd rather see Pittsburgh

Not only because they’ve beat us twice, but also because their hurtin and we know them better then any other team. We can beat both San Diego and Pitt. so ethier or wont matter. Go Ravens!!!!!!!

How are we hurtin?

We don’t have any injured players. ANY! I can’t say the same for the Ravens. You guys are joking me.

Funny how things could work out

If the Eagles beat the Giants today and the Chargers beat the Steelers, then the 9-7 regular season Cardinals and the 8-8 regular season Chargers will host the conference’s Championship Games!? How insane is that? I’d prefer to go to San Diego myself, as I’ll probably go wherever the game is and 75 degree weather and short skirts sounds a lot better to me than seeing the cold wind, snow and Steeler women with mustaches!

However, at the same time, I want to punk the Steelers in their own crib and see see Big Ben limp off the field with his head down. Besides, if the Steelers are good enough to beat us three times, then they certainly deserve to go to the Big Game.

Yes! We get Pitt. No excuse and nothing left on the table with this rematch. Has to be this way.
