Ravens Win! Who's Next!?
It's sweet revenge that we return the favor to the Titans with the exact same score they beat us in Baltimore in week four. I don't want to hear anything from them about the play clock running out but no penalty called, especially with that week four phantom "roughing the QB" call on Suggs.. We won, we move on and they watch us on TV.
So who's next? Does San Diego pull off the upset and we go to sunny southern California? Or do we meet the Steelers in their crib for Round Three? Either way, bring it on!
Post your love for the Ravens and this incredibly unexpected season here.
YES!!! GO RAVENS!!!

we were fortunate. we can’t come out that conservative on O every week. our LB’s need to clamp down on 3rd and longs and we need to limit our false starts. we got away with short kick offs (design or not) and we got away with run run pass calling. well, can’t argue with success. more than i ever could have believed in this year.

I kept waiting for Cam
to break out with the trick play but it never came. If we;d lost, I’d have been real critical of the conservative playcalling like we had in the loss to the Steelers in December. We got here with a bunch of successful trick plays and still should have them in our arsenal.

i agree
Whenever we play a good team, we are way too conservative on offense. I think its a big reason why the Colts and Giants games were such blowouts. The end of the first half would have been a key time to us Troy Smith. The offense wasn’t going anywhere, a trick play may have given them a much needed boost. Hopefully they’ll try something next week.

Tough to run trick plays successfully against great defenses
It would have been too risky IMO against a great D like TEN or even PIT. We won due to the turnover discrepancy and a trick play could have cost us the ball and the game. If the game was going differently then I think it should be considered but in a game where ball security was so crucial I think they made the right call.

whatever….no difference between another no gain run and a no gain end around…but it would scare them honest. gimmicks don’t hev to work..especially early. it plants a seed that stay the entire game.

KEEP DOUBTING US NOW!
Wow, sorry I missed such a great experience with BB, but holy shit! I mean……..I dont know how to describe this feeling. That was incredible, the most nerve racking game I think I have ever experienced from our boys. We got the task done Rexx, this one was for The Beatdown crew.
KEEP DOUBTIN US NOW! What did a rookie QB and Coach do huh?!? What did an “aged” defense do huh?!? EXACTLY! Come see us next week, I will take anyone right now, bring this shit on!

Yeah, a little bit. We seriously lucked out when Johnson went down. The guy was tearing us apart, and making us look like chumps in the process. Although, I guess you can’t expect to send such a little guy up the middle against us and not have our guys bend him in half the wrong way. Like they did.

I was surprised that Baltimore didnt pick up on whaat they were doing. They kept getting Johnson out to the edge and let him pick his hole he wanted to cut in. Baltimore didnt play gap control.

Are you blind, or just stupid? I mean, did you even watch the game yesterday? Our running game went nowhere. Our backs racked up a grand total of 45 yards (50 if you count Flacco). Our defense looked very average. Collins had all day to throw (did he take tea and crumpets on a shotgun pass in the second quarter?), Chris Johnson apparently didn’t hear that we’re a top-ranked run defense, and Gage looked unstoppable, very nearly having the best game of his career (12-ish yards short of a personal record).
Flacco, on the other hand, became the first rookie to win two playoff games. The opposing quarterbacks for those two games — both veterans — looked much worse. Their combined QB rating couldn’t be any higher than 100. Joe was a beast yesterday. Despite not getting nearly enough passing calls from the sidelines, he came out and made every throw we needed to keep going. He had completions for 48, 37, 23, and 18 yards. This guy will air it out, check down, or run it himself if nobody can get open, and look like a veteran the whole time. Nobody on our offense contributed more to this win than he did.

Seconded
You could easily say that Flacco won that game for us. The pinpoint long TD pass to Mason, the key third down conversion to Heap and the throw to Clayton to get us within Stover’s range for the game winning FG. The stats are irrelevant, it’s the key plays that sets him apart.

Your an idiot
Just keep trying to forget that a rookie QB beat you. A ROOKIE! You have no answers for the game yesterday either. Why do stats have to prove if someone did something?

They just dont want to admit that a Rookie with a Unibrow beat them
But its ok, he doesnt even deserve a single vote for rookie of the year. Coach Harbaugh doesnt deserve coach of the year either. Its ok though, we will take what we have now that those guys dont, IN THE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Flacco didn’t do much against you? He had one of the two touchdowns in the entire game. He put us in range for our two field goals. Our running game definitely wasn’t doing it for us. If it wasn’t Flacco, then just who was getting it done? It wasn’t the defense. They haven’t looked this bad since the game against the Giants.
There’s just no arguing against idiots like this. There’s no rationale to their argument. They all fall back to the same hackneyed cliches: the Ravens defense must have beaten them, the refs screwed them, and they beat themselves. There isn’t a single shred of truth to any of his posts. He didn’t even watch the game. Please, just don’t respond to this loser until he goes and watches a recap.

Overhyped???
This was the first time this whole season that they did coverage of Joe. You watch our offensive highlights and tell me that he doesnt deserve some hype. This week was the first time they brought up Flacco’s name for other than being a rookie.
Here you go, tell me he doesnt deserve the hype for some of theses plays and throws he made

Nobody is saying that he’s god-like. What we’re saying is that he isn’t playing like a rookie, and there is most definitely an argument for that. The only person here who has no idea what he’s talking about is you. How do you reconcile
He’s very good, i’m not denying that
with
a rookie QB really hasnt doen much of anything this year
Which is it, Patssuck456? If he’s a rookie that’s very good, he must have done something this season to earn the accolades. If he hasn’t done much of anything this season, then why would you consider him to be very good? Either your incredible logic is just too stupefying for me to comprehend, or what you’re trying to say is tough to comprehend because your foot is in your mouth.

Dialog overheard at halftime:
On the topic of quarterbacks:
Raven Mascot: “It’s not wise to upset a Rookie.”
Titan Mascot: “But nobody worries about upsetting a droid”
Raven: “That’s ‘cause a droid don’t rip people’s arms outta their sockets when they lose.”
Titan Mascot: “Oh, I see.” (aside to Collins:) “Let the Rookie win!”
Great job Ravens!

Turnover differential is probably the most important statistic in football. I thought we looked like a tired team today, but played under control (no stupid personal fouls), and played smart (no turnovers.)
I don’t give a darn who we play next week. Win or lose, I am very proud to be a Raven fan right now.

next season, just my opinion. Next year they will have to face SIX playoff teams and play a first place schedule, including a new division in the NFC. They had a pretty easy schedule this season and will be hard pressed to repeat, which the Miami sportstalk radio hosts stated when I was there.

Who's Coming With Me?
If the Steelers win, I’m going to go to the game, most likely on the WNST bus deal they have. It should be affordable, the Titans trip cost $500/person and included round trip bus fare, game tickets, and hotel for two nights. Pitt should not be any more then that considering its a shorter ride, and most likely would only be one night in a hotel. We need to represent in Pitt if they can beat the Chargers. Go Ravens

It would have pushed us back 5 yards and stayed at first down.
Not anywhere close to Collins throwing at incomplete pass on 3rd and long and we win the game after you guys punt, BUT NO! Suggs gives a love tap to Collins shoulder, while being blocked, while trying to deflect the pass, and his arm just happened to come down on his shoulder. Some roughing Collins took there. Your lucky penalty gave u 15 yards, and a first down to get your drive going.
You also allowed Heap who hadnt made a catch all game, get the biggest catch of his career. And Mark Clayton go up and over your so called “Pro Bowl” DB’s on a ball that was thrown 100 feet in the air.
There were more than a 5 yard penalty that lost that game for you, the magic number should be 3, for the turnovers you had in OUR 20 yard line.
