Marques Douglas Returns
The Baltimore Ravens have traded a conditional draft pick to the Tamp Bay Buccaneers for former Ravens d-lineman Marques Douglas. Douglas was a backup lineman, but played real well in limited action as a Raven. He signed a big deal in free agency but was not part of Tampa Bay's plans this season, so they offered him back to us. With Dwan Edwards not out for the season after being placed on IR yesterday, Douglas is a great pickup for the ailing Ravens. He should fit right into the mix and play a big role in support of the starters on the line. Welcome back Marques!
In other Ravens news, former second round draft pick LB Dan Cody (Oklahoma) was waived after an injury-marred career in which he never played a regular season game since 2006.

I like Marques. He fit in really well with our defense and will have a decent impact with our team. He is already use to our system and is around some familer faces.

Bannan and Douglas...
…did absolutely fine in Gregg’s absence. Both guys could start on most teams and give us great depth on the d-line.
