Fahv-ruh (Poll)

The Packers want Favre to go to an AFC team or stay with them as Aaron Rodgers' backup. As far as AFC teams go, the Ravens may be the best fit. They are a good team that have a closing window and needed help on offense. They still have a great running game and defense, but their passing game needs help. Brett can provide that and make us contenders again. So yeah, we should go for Favre.

Not this time

A couple of years ago, I would have loved to have Favre over McNair. Now we’re a lot more than just a semi-retired Favre away from contending. He’ll just slow down the progress of Troy Smith and make it even more difficult for Joe Flacco to get the reps needed to earn the starting gig. If Aaron Rodgers is ready in Green Bay, then Smith should be the same in Baltimore. Besides, which Favre would we be getting? The one who looked great most of last year throwing to a bevy of big, fast receivers (of which we have none to compare); or the one who should have retired after the horrible 2006 season? Hmmm…

We may have won the Superbowl...

... if we had Favre over McNair in 2006.

I can't say that.

Other than the horrible pass McNair threw for an interception against the Colts at the goal line in the playoffs, he was the reason we made it that far in the first place, from an offensive standpoint. Favre might have thrown more TD’s but he certainly would have thrown more interceptions. Remember, he had a pretty poor 2006 season, and many thought he was going to and probably should have retired then.

ya i think ball-hawk is right

Ya we would have had more options with favre mind you demitrius williams was healthy we would have stretched the field alot more. i was really angry at how conservative we were against the colts in the playoffs. i was really pissed. They stacked the box all day, so we couldn’t run the ball. we could’nt do anything but dumpoffs, and short pases, and we almost won the game. our d was as good as i’ve ever seen. we had 2 picks, and still lost the game. wtf. we had about as much options of a deep threat with mcnair as my 4 year old nephew. great qb but no arm strength. the thing is, it was like that all year, i was kinda hoping for boller, cause their safeties were so close up, and we still couldn’t do anything. if our defence is anything like 06…woah…watchout…i think we will win alot of games. cause or running game is alot better, and we by the grace of GOD. we will be a lot healthier. All of our quarterbacks have really good arms so that wont be a problem.

Heres da thang. I would luv 4 farve 2 cum 2 da ravens but, i dont think they shld go after him. we r alredy n cap troble and wouldnt be able to afford farve. we still have to sign all our draft picks and also resign Ray lewis and t-sizzle. if we were to sign farve, we would have to cut sum1 like tervor pryce or samari shake, rattle and rolle. Also, I dont think farve would have been better then mac 9. Air McNair fit perfectly into our system while bret has been running da west coast offense 4 ever. So in conclusion, Da ravens should not go after farve and mac 9 was our best bet to reach da super bowl dat year.

FEAR THE NEVERMORE DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
