farve ask to be released

Farve was just asked to be released by the green bay packers to find another team to play for. hey rexx it might not be such a distant tought after all, it might actually happen. now that its about to happen i'm actually excited about this hopefully it comes true. i really wanted troy to get his chance, and if this happens, he will most likely never play for us. so i'm happy, and at the same time sad about the situation.

The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

I’d hope that all the Ravens should acquire Favre talk is finished already.

ESPN's John Clayton says...

...Favre wants his outright release to negotiate w/ other teams. GB says they won’t do it, but might consider trading him, but not to an NFC team. He went on to say that he hadn’t heard anything from either Baltimore or Miami, the two AFC teams that he would be best suited for. As much as I love Favre’s career, I think he went too far in his crying press conference announcing his retirement to give him the respect he’d need to return a couple of months later, just saying “oops, my bad!” Nah, doesn’t fly well with me.

ya man your totally right

he should have waited like J.O, or steve mcnair, it was kinda selfish of him. i love brett, but he put his team in a bad situation. i wanted him to come to baltimore, but not anymore, i think it will just delay the progress in developing our offence. then again, our defence, didn’t jump into the fountain of youth. they aren’t geting any younger, and we kinda need to win now. P.S i wish there were a fountain of youth. we would have the best defence forever. I really hope troy smith does well, i’m actually gonna pick him on my fantasy team. i think cam cameron’s offence fits more to our personnel than brian billicks.

Totally agree...

...w/ all your comments here. However, picking Troy Smith on your fantasy team is kind of risky, given that there are probably 31 other QB’s I’d pick before him. If you want to take a flyer on him in the last round, he should still be available, but not me.

ya i got a hunch

he is gonna be a really late pick of mine, but i think he is gonna be a steal for me, and by the way i’m not very good at fantasy football, i end up picking like the whole ravens team. lol but
