Playoff Clinching Confusion...
According the AP (according to The Sun) the Ravens can clinch the last wild card simply with a NE loss. Can anyone validate this for me... is it true? That would be nice. Since our game was flexed to 4:15 and the NE game is at 1:00, we would know if it was still a "must win."
According to the article:
NORTH DIVISION
PITTSBURGH STEELERS -- Clinched the division and a first-round bye.
RAVENS -- Can clinch a playoff spot with:
1) A win
2) A tie and a Miami loss or tie
3) A tie and a New England loss or tie
4) A New England loss.
A little help anyone?

Yup, it's true
If we lose and…
If the Dolphins lose to the Jets, they are both 10-6 like us, but we have better head-to-head and similar opponents’ records.
If the Pats win and the above happens, we are still Wilds Card, as NE is AFC Champ and we have better tie-breakers over Jets/Dolphins.
If Pats lose, we’re in regardless of what happens to Jets-Dolphins.
GO BILLS!

why the gimmicks this week and known against pitt? harbaugh said he had to pull out all the stops against dallas. what was last week-not important? it’s almost if we plan on a team scoring 13 against we plan on trying for 14..if we plan on a team scoring 24 on us we shoot for 25. how ’bout this…we know the team will have a good D effort so why not shoot for 30 everygame-gimmicks and all. I think Pitt spooked us into our O shell…let it hang out. We win when we throw caution to the wind.

It’s actually way different. Dallas has an undisciplined defense, so trick plays can be quite effective.
Pittsburgh has a very disciplined defense so trick plays are not effective.
The Ravens use trick plays when they anticipate them being effective.

Totally agree
was bewildered how afraid our offense gameplan was against the Steelers. As I’ve said, everything the got us to this point was put away for the Steelers game. Perhaps Cam thought we’d lose andd still make the playoffs so he was saving them for when we face them in the post season. See how smart he is?

The one thing that really stood out to me after watching the Jaguars play the Colts was they have very fast DB’s who are over-agressive and undiscipline at times. They late hit/pile on after almost every play so watch for some beneficial flags. With nothing on the line but a raise they will be running around like mad men looking for stats. If we stay disciplined and methodical they will go crazy and the late hits/blown coverages will start coming. Just a little prediction.

Concerned about MJD
He is a very quick and powerful little man. He can game break and we must keep tabs on him, as he’ll rn circles around Bart and Ray in the open field.
