PrintHey guys, sorry for the delay in getting this Open Thread for tonight's Ravens-Cowboys game up and started. Just returned from dinner with the little lady and now I am ready for some football. I know it's "Date Night" as Saturday night often is, but how about spending some time online with the rest of the Ravens fans of the Beatdown? Post your thoughts here during the game and together we can cheer or complain about the game here as one.
This figures to be as tough as they come, as the entire league and NFL Network is sure in love with the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Stadium. Well, let's give them something to remember, as the purple and black shut down Romo and TO, and then we can spend all week hearing them implode with another soap opera drama that we've come to know as the Dallas Cowboys!

May have something to do with...
the fact that he’s from the area, and in the pre-game they mentioned that he was a vendor cashier or something at Texas Stadium when he was a kid.

Acceptable first quarter
as bad as that first quarter was and we’re only down four and driving, it could have been worse, which might be3 a good sign. If we can get points on this drive, although not so bold as to suggest a TD, we could be in good shape.

Now we need Marcus Smith to be big and contribute like I knew he could before the season.
I interviewed him and he caught 94 passes his senior year in college.

Another poor Red Zone series
I say put Troy Smith in when we reach the Red Zone. If this continues and we can’t convert these long drives into TD’s we’re going to lose by a point or two and then look at these failures as the reason.

Heap has to score on that pass
otherwise we know we’re horrible in the Dead Zone so we need to run that catch by Heap in for a TD. But Heap falls down whenever anyone gets close to him.

He is definitely flustered by our defense. TO’s catch was the first to a WR for the game. Ryan is calling a great defensive game. Cam needs to step it up, in the Red Zone for sure!

throwing deep loosens up the secondary and doesn’t allow them to creep up on the line to stop the run.

on offense to get the ball in for six! Try a trick play or another Wildcat formation.

Can’t ask for much mre than that. Now all we need is a long time consuming drive with a TD at the end. Anine point lead might be enough!

two TD’s, 4-FG’s. The ’boys have only three,….so far. Six scoring opportunities is a pretty decent offensive day!

Dallas’ defense is what? 7th? But they can’t tackle the big guys. Watch us national TV audience. No one will want to play us in the palyoffs now.
I can’t weait for next week’s game at home against the Jags. We will win to nail down the 6th seed and I will be there going crazy! Pats may not make playoffs. Who will be the #3 seed and host us? Who cares, as both Wild Cards in the AFC (Indy, us) will destroy the host teams (Denver, Jets/Pats/Dolphins)!

we are going all the way..Mcgahee has confidence, Flacco won in an impossible situation..the NFL had us play Pitt. and then play Dallas’s emotional game of the year in front of evey cowboy that ever live. I really must admit that was impressive and you guys look like a playoff team.
I really hate how nobody gives anybody credit for beating the cowboys but instead only talk about how the cowboys lost the game. The commentators talked about Dallas 90% of the time whether it was how bad they were doing or how good or just anything Dallas.
Good job winning but you should go ahead and lose to Jacksonville because your job is done.
