I can understand why my comment hurt them. It’s shameful to realize that you were on a band-wagon, and it hurts to lose especially when expectations are high. I remember the Raven’s last season. That was hard. I actually felt a little sympathy and guilt after I made that comment. However, the guilt quickly dissipated when I remembered the trash-talking during the off-season and the bitter, rude insults in our posts at DBN.

They do not want to have to be held accountable for their comments. That is the heart of the matter. They stirred up the water during the off-season. They made unbelievable claims about Browns and “welcomed” the Ravens to the “basement” of the NFL. Now, the Ravens are 5-3, and the Browns are 3-6. The Ravens swept the Browns, and they hate that. What do they hate more? They HATE having to admit that they were being spoon-fed hype. They HATE having to admit that the Ravens are a solid franchise, and most of all, they HATE having to eat their words.

I think that people should be held accountable for their comments. I have NO problem with good, old-fashioned trash-talking, but if your team doesn’t back you up, then prepare to face the music. That’s the natural order. That’s why you need to watch what you say.

I know that this sounds funny coming from a guy that just got banned, but I have never said anything (about the Ravens, at least) that the Ravens have not backed up. I don’t think that “Bam” was worthy of a ban, but maybe I’m wrong. If I’m wrong, tell me. Make me eat my words. If I dish it out, you better believe that I can take it.

The cleveland fans think their team is the best in the league just because they had one breakout season and were the darlings of the league, as evidenced by so many prime time games this year. However, they have been exposed, especially by the Ravens (twice) as a fraud and their 2006 season was a fluke as they crept up on everyone who overlooked them last season, but not this season. That happens, but the way their fans treat others is unexcusable. They see someone not on their bandwagon posting conflicting comments with their opinions and then proceed to rip them personally, using foul mouthed obnoxious language. Then they complain about our trash talking and threaten to and sometimes even ban us. Fine w/ me. While they’re welcome here as long as they stick to the terms of this site, they need to be left alone to play with their own friends in their own backyard where they belong. I’m done w/ them and suggest you do the same.

Browns might be moving to Aberdeen if the Ripken, Anita Null and Phelps group get funding squared away.

I got a warning from their site for saying they should give up the rest of the season, go 3-13, and go after tim tebow. But i plan on never returning to that shit hole anyway. THEY HAVE ORANGE HELMETS!

but couldnt they have just gotten brown helmets? if they are named after paul brown, why did they have to choose brown jersays? why not lime green?

yeah..why all the brown. who picks turd brown for a uni anyways….and caps it off with a orange helmet. it’s like a turd with a siren.
