I was going to say

I remembered you being pretty pessimistic coming into the game against the Colts

and you guys aren't competing with the Colts for a playoff spot right now

we’re competing for the right to play Denver in the 1st round.

yeah, but they are winning the AFC West

3 game lead with 4 to play. Division winner with the worst record gets the 4 seed who plays the 5 seed in the first round.

  1. seed will be sweet! Not that the jets would be able to take advantage.

Hmmm, formatting turned “#5” into “1.” Oh well.

Yeah, but if Denver wins the west

and the Colts finish with the first Wild Card slot then they go to Denver and we’d go to the Jets as it now stands. Either one is fine w/ me, but I still want that #2 seed and first round bye that the Steelers currently have. We beat them in two weeks after they lose at home to Dallas and then on the road to Tennessee and we’re there!

Oh c’mon rexx, you know you liked seeing Cassel getting embarrassed. Romo could be almost as entertaining!

I realized this morning....

that the titans game might go to the steelers. If tenn is already the division winner by that time, why would they play their starters? Pitt might get that easy win, but I hope tenn would want to face a team that they might meet late in the post season.

Yeah, I’ve been hoping for the titans to win out until game 15. Even if they don’t hand us the game if they have the #1 locked up they’ probably won’t play up to their ability.

Of course, I’d love for that game to decide the #1 seed, but that probably won’t happen.

Don't think Titans will lay down

for the Steelers. If they lose, regardless of who plays for them, then it just gives more confidence and momentum to Steelers, which is one thing they don’t need.

the titans would love nothing mroe than to lay down and kill the ravens chances at anything. they might even create a big screen montage on how they plan to do it…playbook theifs (ESPN replayed the Dlifer/Playbook theft again Sunday..)

i just want collins to take some hits and show his age like maddux did.
