Not gonna be able to talk this one out

But, this is going to be a fun game for sure! Stay optimistic boys. A few things we don’t want happening will most likely happen. But we know we can handle this.

See ya after the game.

LETS GO!

Difference so far

Figurs problem

is that last year he looked to get outside for big returns. Now it seems he always tries the middle and looks to go right at the opposing players! WTF?

O-line

is not getting off the ball. They need to back the d-line up.

Typical Ravens

waste of a timeout.

Rexx

by Rexx on Nov 16, 2008 1:23 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Houston

took their first drive all the way to our one yard line before screwing up. The Giants just made good. Now that we’ve got that first drive out of the way, we need to get a first down here and put up at least three points to get back in the game.

Mason again, of course. Right side of o-line moved early on that play, but refs didn’t call it!

Now this is looking dismal

Jacobs is well over 60 yards in the first quarter and none of our DB’s seem to have nay interest in tackling him. If we can’t acore, even 3 when we have a chance, it could get “Indy” ugly.

That was a 10 point turnaroud

We miss the FG, they get the TD (okay, since they missed the XP, it’s a nine point turnaround!)

So to review our Defense so far....

Every hand off is an automatic 5+ yards, the DB’s are playing two hand touch when it comes to tackling, and unless Eli over throws a pass, its an automatic first down.

The Ravens will beat the shit teams, but can’t beat the decent ones. Here’s hoping we play a bunch of shit teams the rest of the way and the Steelers let us back into the postseason. Otherwise, we’re going to be real disappointed the remainder of the tough schedule that’s ahead.

I think some real perspective is in order

we weren’t supposed to go to the playoffs. Reality was supposed to set in sooner or later and I rather lose to arguably the best team in the NFL vice losing to a sub .500 team.

Rememer

This is not a must win game. If we lose today, we’re 6-4. We need to win two specific games: next week against the Eagles and then the Steelers rematch. If we also win at Cincy and home against the Skins and Jags, that puts us right at 11-5 and should win the division, regardless of what happens today. Furthermore, 11-5 should get us a first round bye and at least one home playoff game.

So let’s stay optimistic, boys!

come out in the second half, playing like they don’t give a fuck. Let Flacco just air the fuck out, start calling the wacky crazy plays, and get the defense to get really innovating. If we are going to lose…make it fucking entertaining.

you know that what Harbaugh would do that if he was the Giants headcoach. He would run it down our throats until we said uncle. And then at the post game conference, he would dedicate the win over Baltimore to Irsay…and then tells us that our quality of our city’s crack is vastly overrated…

Again with the offsides!

That part of the game is embarassing! Personally, I won’t miss Bart Scott. He is so overrated and is just a loud mouth and has nothing to show for it on the field. His only good season was because every team was worried about Ray and Adalius, so he was free to put up good numbers. Now, w/o AD, he’s done nothing in two years except get us so many stupid penalties.

This was a tough game from the time it was scheduled

Don’t read too much into this. To go into the #1 team in the league and expect a young team with a rookie QB to win is unrealistic. Next week, when the eagles come to us, is another matter. That is one we should expect to win.

Funny thing is, today I predicted the Giants to win 20-13. However, this summer I had the Giants winning 30-10. Either one can still be right!

flacco threw poor pass to Mason…behind and high..mason has a hurt shoulder and everyone knows its hard to reach high with a bum shoulder..thats on Flacco.

I disagree

it hit him in the helmet. Mason normally makes that catch. Flacco is not at fault at all for that. Just one of those days. Mason trying to play hurt but clearly has limited mobility in his shoulder.

our defense lost us this game

Honestly, most of us are used to the ravens scoring around 10 points or so on offense.

But none of us are used to our defense playing like this unless its against indy

Tough team, tough game

Lighten up on the Ravens. I mean, can you believe that we actually thought we could hang with them? They’re the best team in the league and we’ll be back next week to beat the Eagles and stay in the playoff hunt. So forget this one and move on
