Flacco Named Rookie of the Week!!!!!!!!!

I'm very proud of him of late, he has played well, and i'm even growing unibrow, lol   IMO it was a no brainer, but thats me.  The closest to me was Brandon Flowers from Kansas city, who had 2 picks, and ran One back for a TD.  He also had like 6 6.5 total tackles Chis Johson, Kenny Philips, and Donnie Avery were also some of the Nominees. After Flowers, the third best had to be Donnie Avery, He is turning out to be a steal for the Rams, (why cant be ever get a WR steal, thats for another post) . GO FLACCO!!! Wakko 4 Flacco!!!!!!!!!   <-------Read all about it!!!

YES!

Thats my boy right there. I think we all should start rockin the Unibrow. Joe is making a trademark on two things. Then Number “5” and the Unibrow. I think he is the only starting QB in the NFL right now with the #5. I am glad he is making an image for himself and not just have the typical 7 or 13.

“All Quartbacks named Joe have been great.” Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Joe Flacco is next! Big things are comin Gentleman, very big things. LETS GO!

Flacco

Great honor for him. Matt Ryan was named Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. Perhaps a couple of more weeks like this and Flacco will get it for November.

As far as Donnie Avery, I knew of him because he was actually tied w/ Marcus Smith for the second most receptions last year in the nation in college. They both had 94, but I believe Avery had better yardage and TD’s. Neither of them is a Michael Crabtree but if Avery can do that in St. Louis, no reason Smith can’t do it here.

Wasn’t Bart Starr #5?

Not sure if Smith has the same speed and agility that avery has. Avery is a little guy who can just burnnnn you. Smith a a 6’1" 220 pound converted WR from previously being a Running Back before coming into college.

BUT, from many of the training camps I went to, NO receiver impressed me more than Smith. He was making every catch in traffic, in stride, and in the middle of the field. I would also like to see some Ernie Wheelright, he is F***** huge. 6’5" 220, who knows how good he could turn out, undrafted rookie this year? A lot of them seem to work out on this team? Hmmmm

Training Camp

This was the first year I ever went to Training Camp and it was great. I live only 15 minutes from their site and I went a couple of times and will go regularly from now on. I totally recommend it, although don’t expect to get any autographs, which I couldn’t care less about myself.

I got autographs almost every time I was there, just gotta make sure to get to the front of the fences. A few players I was able to get were, Heap, Troy, Terry, Suggs, Zbi, Ogden came around once, Mason, and that;s it. If you go, dont even try to get Ray’s autograph, as 2000 other people are as well.

Autographs..

Way back when I got Brooks Robinsons at the Crown Station in Towson and he was happy as could be just kicking back in an old chair…no line or anything. They actually gave you a poster to have signed. He’s Baltimore sports to me.
