Rolle Out At Least A Month

PrintRavens cornerback Samri Rolle just had neck surgery and will be out of action at least for the next month. Fabian Washington will start in his place, as he did in this past Monday night's game against the Steelers.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Washington remain in the starting lineup even after Rolle returns, as he is younger and was picked up this past offseason on draft day in a trade with the Oakland Raiders with the intention of taking his place.
Washington is younger and faster than Rolle and looks to be the type of player the Raiders expected him to be when they selected him in the first round of the 2005 draft.

Unfortunately, ...
…Rolle has to be paid and we are charged for the entire season on the cap even if we released him today. However, certainly not an issue next season, when he can go on the open market and sign with anyone,…most likely of course, Cleveland, who signs all our rejects.

did okay but he needs to get an idea of where the ball is..he plays the man at this point. I have to hand it to him though-he somehow got his hands up in time on the deep balls. The Titan’s didn’t pick on him like I thought they would. Collins didn’t have a whole lot of time.
