We are half way through, What else do we need?

So after this weekend's win against Cleveland and we are 5-3, what does everyone on this site think we need to upgrade ourselves in during the offseason? Sorry  this subject is a little early This can be who we might look at in the draft, free agency, anything. Just my opinions.

With the Draft, I think right now we need to look at CB and WR. I feel as if those are our two weakest positions as of right now. As far a CB goes, CMac and Rolle dont have much longer and who knows if Rolle will be with us after this season, which I hope he is. I feel as if Fabian is a blessing for us to have, he is a gifted athlete and should be our #1 Corner in the future. If not, I look at someone in the draft such as Vonte Davis from illinois or Malcom Jenkins from Ohio State. They are both most likely going to be the two premier corners in the draft this year. Not too sure what CBs will be available in free agency, but I feel we could address this position in the first 3 rounds of the 2009 draft.

For WR, I am looking for us to grab someone from another team in the offseason. I will say it now, I WANT CHAD JOHNSON! Sorry, disagree, but I want him. 99% wont happen because its within our division, but he is a spark and might bring more attention to our team. And I dont think it would be negative, because him and Ray are very close friends and I think he would settle down nicely here. Yea he is pushin 30, but that man can still catch a football. If not him, I think we should go after Anquon Boldin. Besides Derrick Mason, I feel Boldin is one of the top Possession WR in the NFL. If we cant get a free agent or trade, then look at the draft. Besides Crabtree, I dont see too many stand out WR in this years draft. Crabtree will most likely be a top 10 pick, the man is simply amazing. BUT, the 2nd and third rounds could produce some steals. Players like Jaquen Iglesis from Oklahoma, Percy Harvin from Florida, and my beloved Darrius Heyward-Bey from MARYLAND! These are all very gifted WR who have proven they are elite Recievers in the NCAA. Iglesis is underrated, Harvin is a very fast player, and Heyward-Bey CANNOT be single covered, or it is over, I just wish we had a QB that would throw it to him 10-15 times a game. (Not talkin about Flacco, relax.) I think Clayton is a bust, too small, not physical enough, and not that fast. He is ok if we line him up in the 4th slot maybe, having Mason, _____, Williams ahead of him.

Between these two positions, which I feel are both in the need of the most upgrading after this year, WR is more important. YES YES YES, we are getting burned in the passing game, but we still have some years out of CMac, I hope. There might be some corners in the late parts of the draft, because, besides WR, CB is usually the biggest bust in the draft.

Put it this way, look at how many SHITTY teams in the NFL have elite WR for their QB to throw to, Detroit (Johnson), St Louis (Holt and now avery) Houston (Andre Johnson) Cinci (85 and  TJ Whoseyourmama) Cant think of more right now, but you get the point. I think Cam Cameron and Flacco are one game changing WR away from having an explosive Offense. The RB is set, I love our guys there. I get chills thinking about all 3 of them detroying defenses. TE, ehhhh, lets hope Heap is who we think he is. He needs to picture Chris Redman throwing them passes to him like back in the day when he was a Pro Bowler.

Im sure a few of you will say "focus on next week, not the off season" but I like to dream sometimes, you know? Discuss guys, thanks for reading.
