Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

Yanda likely done for the season.

It's bad enough that we got blown out by the colts, but now we lose one of our best offensive linemen. Chris chester will get the start this week at miami. I really hope Chris has become much better then he was last year. If not, Joe Flacco will be getting pressure right up the middle. Also, willie anderson also went down with a injury but his status is unkown. We really need some help now.

Willie Anderson looked like...

…his feet were stuck in cement against the Colts. Robert Mathis had THREE sacks against him, as he looked so old and slow at RT. I’d prefer Adam Terry after seeing that. As far as Chris Chester is concerned, the funny thing is that due to lack of depth at TE, they recently moved him officially back to his original position when he started at Oklahoma before moving to guard, and had even changed his uni number to 48. Now he has to go back again. What about Oneil Cousins (OT), who always wants to fight everybody? Or David Hale, who is a natural guard?

O Line

I read on www.profootball24x7.com that since Yanda is out the Ravens will probably try too play Adam Terry next too Willie Anderson which would give the right side of our line a bigger presence. Chris Chester or their rookie Oneil Cousins could also replace Yanda. Aaron Wilson, who covers the Ravens wrote the article so look for his columns if interested in reading.

I think they should play willie at RG and kept terry at RT. Willie looked so awful on sunday. I can see why the bengals cut him. he cant move his feet very quick any more so putting him a guard would be a great fit for him. it will also make or power running game better.

Line problems mean

more roll out chuck and duck Sunday. Just run the ball rotating in 3 backs evenly. Wear them out. To be a smart ass, I’d come out in the Wildcat ……..and then do the “barking dog” to distract the DB’s.
